Canals Strategy

Weapons

Torque Bow
2 Snipers
Revolver
Frag Grenades

Overview

Canals is a fairly small map with a main river running down the middle of it, three bridges connecting two sides, and two upper levels.

One of the best ways to win a match on the Canals map is to have one person take sniper. The sniper should give cover fire to anyone advancing to the enemy position down the center river. It is most vital to take out any enemy snipers. Your teammates cannot advance as easily with any snipers above them.

Only two people should go down the river and take cover on the middle bridge, near the Torque Bow. I don't recommend could taking it because you put yourself directly in front of enemy fire and from here, you need to pick off enemies with your Lancer. (Remember enemy snipers can down you if you stay out of cover for too long or advance to quickly.)

The forth person on your team should follow the sniper to the bridge but continue running to the upper walkway of the level, advancing to the furthest bridge. On your way, stop by the middle bridge and give some Lancer support to your team under the middle bridge. Once you advance far enough, take out any enemies sniping or camping on the furthest bridge.

If you are playing 3x3, two players should advance down the center and one should take the sniper.

Excellent strategy and diagrams!

don't forget, that 4th player flanker can also grab the nades while he is on the middle bridge if he so desires.
