ANNEX HAS BEEN RELEASED.
It's pretty much just what the doctor ordered. Node-capturing goodness with a points system and respawn capabilities. Very similar to unreal tournament's Domination and Onslaught modes. We are all in for some good old fashion fun.

wikipedia also says there are 4 maps that come with the update, but they cost money.
