IGN says...
9.5
"The campaign, which is very good, is Halo 3's weakest point. It doesn't capture the cavalier spirit of the original Halo, but you'll still have fun playing through it. There's no first-person shooter on 360 that can equal Halo 3's blend of cinematic action, adrenaline-pumping shootouts, and male- (and female)-bonding gameplay. Look beyond the gameplay and you have a rich feature set unlike anything ever delivered in a videogame. The Forge and the replay functionality raise the bar for console shooters so high, it may never be surpassed this generation. There will be plenty of aspects for fans to nitpick, but it's hard to argue against Halo 3 as the most complete game available on any console."~IGN
As does IGN UK.
"So let’s recap. Single player’s good, without question, but the sheer weight of hype alone brings inevitable disappointment. It would have had to have troubled the very best single-player games ever to reach for those highs but it doesn’t. But it all pales into insignificance against the tech-brimming majesty of the multiplay. Again, the conventional multiplay aspects would have left most reviewers a sweaty mess on their carpets, but Bungie’s innovations have pushed the boundaries on not only what multiplay does, but what multiplayer is. Shooting doesn’t seem to be the be all and end all, all of a sudden." ~IGN UK
AND Gamespot
"Halo 3 builds upon the concepts of Halo 2 in ways that you'd expect, but there are also new modes and options that send the series in exciting new directions."
Basically they say that everything was damn good. The few complaints were minor ones about the graphics (let's face it, they're not that impressive compared to what we've seen before on the 360) and the campaign that, while great, is apparently disappointing due to the overhype that could have killed BioShock's campaign. Basically they were expecting more, as will millions of gamers come Tuesday. If you wanna know what I'm talking about, the review page loaded slow for me (and probably will for you) because so many people are checking it.
However, those are really the least important aspects of a game, especially when you have the sheer number of options, great gameplay, and over funness of Halo's multiplayer. The new weapons, vehicles, and enemies are a great addition, as well as the new multiplayer options and maps. Everything a Halo fan could want, they got and there's no doubt that this 'un's a must-have.
No word yet on removal of helmet. I say not gonna happen just because it would kinda ruin the character that's been established as a big, tough anonymous space marine. Or maybe it would go well like Samus Aran.

"Oh boy golly! A brand new copy of BioShock!"
"I can't wait to start this game up! Now I'll just click new game and..."
"Oh no! Why the fuck did it crash?!"
"Whoa now Billy, that's quite some swearing you go going there."
"But Dr. Computers, I just got a brand new copy of BioShock and now I can't run it!"
"Let's take a look at your specs Billy. Hmm. Just as I thought, your computer isn't powerful enough to run it."
"Oh gee whiz, what can I do Dr. Computers?"
"Unfortunately, you'll need to upgrade your system with new and better parts to make your games work better."
"But Dr. Computers, what how can I know if my PC is good enough to run such amazing, but system-hogging, games such as Company of Heroes, World in Conflict, and Bioshock?"
"Luck for you, I have just the thing you need! It's called System Requirements lab!"
"Yay! Thanks Dr. Computers! I sure was an idiot to try and go out and buy all these games and not even know if I can use them!"
"Oh ho, you sure were Billy. You suuuuuure were."

GUESS WHO'S HERE
Alright! So Sean IMs me up saying that he invited me. I wouldn't know since I haven't checked my email in forever. And Max was signed into AIM here. So after sorting through 347 emails (mostly spam from months ago) I found nothing. Then I checked my AIM mail. It was one of five.
So yeah, I'll be posting here every so often now. Many screenshots and news and such.
First, some game suggestions. They can also be found on GlobaLOLization, but here are the abridged versions if you're not a fan of all caps or rants.I'm also the biggest PC gamer here, so I won't be on Live as often, and I'll get some cross-platform games for the PC (CoD4 for example). This also means that I'll be able to hit things in shooters and make units do what I actually want them to in RTSs. Seriously though, I'm alright at console shooters as long as no sniping is required.
And World in Conflict was reviewed by IGN. 9.3. Not too shabby. Of course, such a great game deserves such a great score. This 'un will definitely be on my list and in my library come the weekend of September 18st. The multiplayer is a great fast-paced action intensive massive fragfest and the singleplayer actually manages to be comparably fun by putting huge numbers of units on the screen, encouraging teamplay with AI allies and liberal amounts of TA points. Combine that with absolutely beautiful graphics and COMPLETELY destructible environments and you've got one hell of a game. However, I will say that if you're looking for a real deep tactical RTS experience, Company of Heroes is the way to go. It'll take a bit to get into and an at least decent PC to run it (unlike WiC's friendly requirements) , but once you get into it, you'll be in love. WiC is easier to get into and is always loads of fun as well, but if you like to get real deep into the game, or just like a tactical experience that will keep you on the edge of your seat, this is the way to go. Either way, you can't go wrong.
Well that's that for now. I'll post as often as things worthy of caring about come up. And as a final note, if someone offers you a way into the Halo 3 Epsilon test, don't accept it!

ITS FINALLY HERE
It's really annoying because during the video compression process in order to get the filesize smaller for youtube, the credits became a brief flash and some song clips are off.
Also that old Gears mappack "Hidden Fronts" from a few months ago is now available for FREE download.

Bioshock
I have just fully beaten Bioshock on the 360. I have researched it, and there are two endings. One ending is a sad one and the other is happy. i got the happy one. i just wanted to say that if u have bioshock, and u want a happy ending, DONT HARVEST (kill) ANY LITTLE SISTERS. just a word of advice. It is a lot better with rewards and you get the happy ending (like i did) if u save them all. I watched the sad ending and it sucks; the happy one is much more fufilling.Plus if u get the 360 version the is a 100 gamerscore achievement for not harvesting any little sisters.
